Cost Breakdown for ESSCA Shanghai Summer Programme

ESSCA Programme Fee

1200 RMB (approx. $180)

Paid to ESIA which is ESSCA's local host institute.

IS 380 Course Fee

Paid to GVSU. The course fee for IS 380 is $25 per credit hour. Participants on this program will register for 6 credits of IS 380.

Health insurance

Paid to insurance provider of your choosing. The Basic ISIC card will meet the PIC health insurance requirement.

Housing

Students are housed in a nearby hotel for 240 RMB per night or about $38 per night.

Meals

On-site personal expenses. Costs for meals will largely depend on a person's spending habits. Students who prepare meals at home rather than eating out regularly may dramatically reduce the cost for meals. This estimate is based on approx. $12 per day.

Personal Expenses

On-site personal expenses associated with local transportation not provided by the program, laundry and other basic necessities.
