PIC sends Host University application instructions to student

1-2 weeks after Feb. 1 deadline

Student returns APU application and supplemental materials to PIC

Early February

Student attends required PIC pre-departure orientation

Select one session to attend from February to April

APU sends email notification of acceptance to student. Once students receive acceptance, they can purchase their flight.

Late March

Register for IS 380 in Banner

By April 1

Tuition payment due to GVSU (see regular tuition payment deadline schedule)

Late April

Travel to Japan

Late May

Return to US

Late July

APU sends transcript to GVSU
