The highly anticipated Leadership Summit returns in 2027, reinvigorating the spirit of leadership and empowerment among students from diverse backgrounds. Hosted on campus, this dynamic conference is a nexus for students, faculty, and professionals to converge, collaborate, and cultivate the next generation of leaders.

Hosted by the Office of Student Life, the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies, and the Frederik Meijer Honors College, the Summit brings together students, campus partners, and leadership educators for an afternoon of interactive sessions, meaningful dialogue, and practical takeaways. Whether you’re a student organization leader, an emerging leader finding your voice, or someone simply curious about leadership, the Summit offers space to learn, reflect, and grow.
Throughout the Summit, participants will:
- Engage in dynamic breakout sessions led by GVSU students, staff, and campus partners
- Explore leadership topics rooted in authenticity, belonging, and purpose
- Connect with peers from across campus and learn from their experiences
- Leave with tools and insights you can apply immediately in your organization, on campus, and beyond
