Faculty & Staff
From 2013 to 2015 I was a Senior Data Scientist at Datalogix which became part of Oracle Data Cloud. In that position I worked in an R&D role to develop and prototype analytical tools to improve their best-in-class capabilities in measuring the offline sales impact of online advertising. My work there would very much fit the term Big Data, as I typically worked with numerous tables of millions to billions of rows stored both locally and on Amazon Web Services.
Outside of work, somethings I enjoy (or enjoyed prior to fatherhood) include hiking, tennis, snowboarding, traveling, learning, playing bad golf, J.R.R. Tolkien, and rock climbing. I have a 5 year old Great Pyrenees named Greta. I am originally from Minnesota and did my B.S. at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I have lived in Seoul and have traveled through Europe with my bicycle.
