Participate and win in the 2026 RSO Homecoming Competition! September 28-October 4, 2026
The RSO Homecoming Competition is designed to build community and excitement around Homecoming Week within student organizations through a series of friendly competitions. Student organizations will earn points through group activities and individual participation throughout the week.
Point System Overview
- Team Competitions: RSOs earn points by participating in group activities.
- Individual Participation: Members earn points for their organization when they attend designated events and are listed on the org's LakerLink roster.
- Bonus Opportunities: Select activities offer additional ways to earn points (e.g., social media engagement).
Prizes
The three top-scoring RSO will recieve
- 1st place: $100 to their on-campus bank account
- 2nd Place: $50 to their on-campus bank account
- 3rd place: $25 to their on-campus bank account
Completion of at least 3 activities in the Laker Superstar experience set will earn you the Laker Superstar badge.

Kick off Homecoming Weekend with an evening of live music, cozy fall treats, and great company at Concert in the Arb! Grab a blanket, find a spot in the beautiful GVSU Arboretum, and relax while enjoying performances from talented local musicians - including a special performance by the 2026 GVGT Winner, Armani Thompson. |
