sHaPe Camp 2022 will be held at the GVSU Health Campus in Downtown Grand Rapids

sHaPe 2021 Battle Creek
sHaPe (Summer Health Activities and Professions Exploration) is a one-week day camp introduction to the health professions for boys and girls currently in 7th and 8th grades. Students participate in activities that provide hands-on exposure to a variety of health professions including physical therapy, medical lab science, sports medicine, and more!
sHaPe remote Camp 2020
Program activities include collecting data in a laboratory setting, using modern medical equipment, understanding different types of therapies for various injuries and disabilities, and experiencing a field trip to Mercy Health - Saint Mary’s Campus!
Besides learning there is a lot of fun! There are lots of activities that include physical movement and team building with great hot lunches provided.
In-person sHaPe Camp 2019

sHaPe Camp is Award Winning!
sHaPe Camp is a 2018 Hometown Health Heroes award recipient, given by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. The purpose of the Hometown Health Hero award is to recognize individuals and organizations which have made significant contributions to protect and improve their community’s health. Hometown Health Hero awards are presented every April as part of Michigan’s Public Health Week.
