Duties of Volunteer
Volunteer duties include helping with specific events; or general tasks, such as information booths, check in table attendees, and impound collection. A minimum of a 2 hour commitment is preferred. The Math and Science center would love volunteers for half or all day! Description of event
The GVSU Regional Math and Science Center is looking for volunteers to help with the Region 12 Michigan Science Olympiad tournament on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Approximately 300 volunteers are needed to help with one of the largest regional Science Olympiad tournaments in the nation. Approximately 1500 middle and high school students from Kent and Ottawa counties will be participating in a variety of science competitions throughout the day.
