Duties of Volunteer
Camp Casey brings a day of horse camp right to the door of children with cancer and rare blood disorders. The Camp Casey team takes the show on the road with their Horsey House Calls by showing up at the child's home with a horse, arts and crafts and food for a camp-like visit in their own yard. Excellent opportunity for students interested in healthcare, education, early childhood or recreation. Volunteering at a Horsey House Call is approximately a 2.5 hour commitment and typically take place on weekends. No horse experience necessary, just big hearts! We're looking for volunteers in the Greater Grand Rapids region or Detroit area. Volunteers assist with arts & crafts projects, serve lunch, set-up/clean-up and generally make sure families are having a wonderful time!
