Do you need a coat or know someone who does?
The GVSU Coat Drive is underway! Give back by donating new or gently used winter coats, hats, gloves or boots. All donated items will be shared with newcomers to the West Michigan community through the Refugee Education Center.
Where Do the Coats Go?
The Refugee Education Center supports refugees in their journey to become fully participating members of the West Michigan community. They envision a thriving, multicultural West Michigan community where all have an opportunity to pursue a better future!
The Refugee Education Center is looking for winter coats, hats, mittens, gloves, and winter boots for ages 5 years to adult. They are looking for NEW or gently used outerwear that is gendered or gender neutral.
