Description
Sensory Saturday is a day for people with autism to participate in the sport of indoor rock climbing in a deliberate environment where more individualized attention to be given to the needs of each participant. We ask that interested participants be at least 7 years old.
Participants may register in one of three, 1 hour blocks of time (10am-11am, 11am-12pm, & 12pm-1pm). Each will include a brief orientation of the facility, instruction on equipment fit, and climb time. Trained staff will be on-hand to tie the knots, belay (control the rope), and provide guidance up the walls.
Cost: $10 per participant,
