We, the Grand Valley State University Student Senate, acting on behalf of the Student Body, would like to state that we are extending our approval of the Reaching Higher 2025 Steering Committee current version as of January 2022 including the draft goals, values, mission, vision, and themes.
We, as members of Grand Valley State University’s Student Senate, dedicate ourselves to cultivating a student body that is engaged, healthy, and empowered. We pledge to represent all students and their diverse, ever-changing needs. With persistency, intentionality, and integrity, we strive to create a Laker experience that is equitable, accessible, and sustainable. Student Senate is founded upon serving the student body with notions of engagement, health, and empowerment all of which the Reaching Higher content embodies.
The Reaching Higher 2025 Steering Committee aligns with Student Senate goals and priorities. We are endorsing RH2025 as we look forward to the implementation process on all levels across the Grand Valley campuses.
