Deadline Extended for the Summer 2019 Henry Congressional Internship Award

Because of the week-long weather closure of the university, the deadline for the Paul Henry Award has been extended to Friday, February 15.

Through the Paul B. Henry Foundation, the family of the late Paul Henry funds a scholarship for a GVSU student to do a summer internship in the DC office of a Senator or Representative from Michigan. By the time of his death at age 51, Paul Henry been a college professor, a MI state representative, a MI state senator, and a member of the U.S. House. His life was a testimony to his belief in the vital importance of public service and of informed, principled, democratic participation. We are very grateful to the Henry family for their support in passing along these values to new generations of students and equipping them for public service.

Applications for the summer 2019 Henry Fellow are now being accepted. The extended deadline is February 15. Interested GVSU students can find more information here or by contacting Professor Zinman.
