2017 Midwest Model European Union
While most students were busy finishing term papers and studying for final exams during the last week of the winter semester, twenty-two Grand Valley students took on the additional roles of European government ministers and EU officials at the Midwest Model European Union. GVSU represented Belgium, Italy, and Lithuania at the international political simulation. About 160 students from seventeen universities participated in the Model EU, held at Indiana University. GVSU students attending the event were enrolled in PLS 321/HNR 311, The European Union, taught by Prof. John Constantelos.
