Ashlee Cunningham, Detroit Housing and Community Development Specialist, is responsible for executing Capital Impact’s Detroit-based programmatic activities specific to resident retention, affordable housing and community development. Ashlee has devoted the last 10 years of her career to low income communities with a lense on organizing, framing and developing core programs, tackling issues like quality housing and neighborhoods, small business development and equal access to services. Ashlee joined Capital Impact Partners in February 2019. Prior to joining Capital Impact, Cunningham led the Washtenaw County Housing Assessment Resource Agency, the single point of entry for all households experiencing a housing or homelessness crisis.

She received her Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the College of Community and Public Service at Grand Valley State University.
