The School of Computing now offers eight graduate-level digital badges. A digital badge recognizes a student's completion of a coherent and meaningful set of skills. Digital badges can also be used as an entry point for students wanting technical skills without having to complete an entire Master's degree program. Badges also allow students to promote their academic achievements online more effectively and in different venues than would be possible with a transcript. For example, you could link your digital badge to your LinkedIn or Facebook profiles.

Our five new badges are in the areas listed below:
Database Management
Biomedical Informatics
Distributed Computing
Software Design and Development
Software Engineering
