PCE Students honored at year-end celebration

A total of 9 Padnos College of Engineering students were honored at the 2026 Student Awards Convocation. In addition to Annika Mattson, who received the Glenn A. Niemeyer Award which recognizes excellence in both the classroom and extra-curricular activities, PCE also had eight honorees in the Excellence-In-A-Discipline category, which celebrate one student from each undergraduate and graduate discipline. Faculty from each department select the recipient based upon an earned minimum number of credit hours at an exceptional grade point average, along with other criteria identified by each unit as appropriate for use in determining academic excellence in their program. The PCE students who won these awards were:
