Laker Racing heads to the Motor City for Michigan Central Race Days

The GVSU Laker Racing team participated in the Michigan Central Race Days event earlier in January. The team's car, "LR25" was on display at Michigan Central during the event from January 18th-25th.
This event gave the PCE students an opportunity to showcase their hard work over the last year in front of various automotive professionals and the Metro Detroit community. This event is a continuation of the partnership established between GVSU and Michigan Central established in 2025.
Being able to represent our team and GVSU at such a high-profile event is a unique experience, said Grant Hayford, team vice president. We are excited to showcase our car to automotive professionals and the community.
