Pickard Scholars
The William F. Pickard Scholars Program at Grand Valley State University is a prestigious scholarship initiative designed to empower first-generation college students, with a particular emphasis on those pursuing degrees in business. T4 Scholars
The T4 Scholarship is designed for students who are shaping their own futures through education and are the first in their family to attend college. These are students with big ideas, strong values, and leadership potential — students who may not always see themselves reflected in traditional college pathways. T4 Scholars are selected from among the high school seniors who participate in the REP4 Midwest Learner Design Summit at Grand Valley State University, an experience where students are invited to show up fully, share what matters to them, and be recognized for who they are and what they hope to become.
As T4 Scholars, students grow alongside one another through a supportive cohort that emphasizes peer mentoring, while also receiving individualized success coaching from dedicated professionals. Grounded in a spirit of giving back and paying it forward, scholars gain confidence and real-world experience through paid student employment opportunities connected to REP4 initiatives, including advising on REP4 prototypes in the futurEDlab, supporting the REP4 Midwest Learner Design Summit, and engaging in special REP4 national opportunities. Taken together with the scholarship, paid opportunities help cover essential expenses so students can focus on learning, leadership, and moving confidently toward their goals.
