Region 12 Science Olympiad Team Scholarship Opportunity
Team Scholarship Information
The Regional Math and Science Center is offering $250 scholarships to returning middle or high schools who show need; or $500 scholarships to new middle or high schools interested in starting a Science Olympiad team. To be eligible for the funds for new teams, a school may not have competed at the regional tournament in the last three tournament cycles (2021, 2022, or 2023). Funds may be used to support registration fees, transportation, and team supplies.
Preference will be given to schools based on strength of application and level of demonstrated need.
Award recipients are required to:
- Register as an official Michigan Science Olympiad team
- Register for, and compete at the Region 12 Science Olympiad Tournament
- Complete provided student and coach tournament evaluations
Applications are due November 15, 2023
