During Winter 2025 the HPE majors in Dr. Johnson's Secondary Teaching Methods course had the opportunity to teach the Lamont Christian Middle school students (grades 5-8) how to play Pickleball. This was an educational experience for everyone involved. The HPE majors were able to practice many of the skills they've been learning in the major, such as skill development, game play strategies, behavior management and classroom organization. Additionally, the Lamont students were able to have extra physical education lessons and were able to learn a new game. We are thankful for our community partners and value these opportunities.
