FIT 159: Adventures in Scuba Diving

This course utilizes PADI Advanced Open Water Diver content. Class meets on campus for eight weeks (classroom and pool) prior to travel to Cozumel, Mexico for certification in advanced open water diving. Travel will occur over Spring Break for certification/final; an additional course fee is used to cover the trip/travel expenses.

Students must hold open water certification from an accredited scuba organization prior to starting class.  Students must also have a valid passport that is dated six months prior to March 1st of the year of travel and six months after the trip.  This class is offered in the winter semester only.
