Woodwinds & Brass Auditions

In-Person Auditions

If you would like to complete your Woodwind or Brass audition in person, there are a select number of dates available. Register for an in-person audition using the Woodwind/Brass Audition Registration form, and select the date you wish to attend. You will be contacted by the Director of Athletic Bands, to set up your exact audition time and receive additional instructions. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled audition time.

If you are unable to attend any in-person audition date, but would still like to do an in-person audition, email [email protected]. In your email we ask that you include your name, the instrument(s) you intend to audition on, and your availability for an in-person audition. Once we receive your request, you will be contacted by the Director of Athletic Bands to schedule your audition.

Recorded Auditions

Recorded video auditions can be submitted before the deadline on TDB, 2026 using the registration form below.

Follow these steps to submit your video:

  • Prepare your video(s) of the required audition music – no edits, clips, or enhancements. You must be visibly playing your instrument the audition video.
  • Upload your video(s) to YouTube as an unlisted video, so that it is viewable with a link you provide (see Change Video Privacy Settings for instructions). Include your name and instrument in the title of the video.
  • Copy the link to your unlisted YouTube video, submit your audition using the form linked below, and include the links in the "Video Audition URLs" box.
