Steps to Enroll in MFA for Your GVSU Account:

1. Log In to Your GVSU Account:

   • https://my.gvsu.edu
   • Enter your GVSU username and password to log in. This will take you to the MFA setup page.

2. Choose Your Authentication Method: Select from the available options for MFA. This could include receiving a code via SMS, using an authenticator app, or other methods offered by GVSU.

3. Follow the On-Screen Instructions: The setup process will guide you through adding your chosen authentication method. This may involve verifying a phone number, scanning a QR code for an app, or other steps depending on your chosen method.

4. Complete the Verification Process: Verify your setup by following the prompts. This might include entering a code sent to your phone or generated by an app.

5. Confirm and Finalize Setup: Once you've successfully verified your method, confirm and complete the MFA setup process.
