What are the benefits?

Health care agencies and institutions require staff to work together for the delivery of safe, patient-centered care. Certificate participation provides students opportunities to gain practical, often clinical, experience in interprofessional settings and demonstrates a commitment to interprofessional care as students prepare for employment in health fields. Adding the IPE Student certificate to students’ professional portfolio positions them as strong communicators and supporters of teamwork and collaboration, with experience in practice settings that make them attractive to potential employers.
