Robyn Settle
Robyn Settle is from Detroit Michigan. She is a returning student at
GVSU as a Junior this year. She is a double major in Women's Gender
and Sexuality Studies/Anthropology and a minor in African American
Studies. She loves being outside and connecting with new people and
making great networking skills, loves to inspire students and adults.
She seeks to find new challenges/opportunities for herself, and she is
a very hard-working/outspoken individual. At GVSU she is a part of a
lot of programs such as the Olive Wilson Scholars, Colors Of Pride,
TRIP Peer Mentor, Rep 4 Mentor, and Black Excellence and Trio Classic.
She is planning on joining more programs in the future. She is also
thinking about going Study abroad next Fall Semester. She presents
herself as a very understanding, very outspoken, kind-hearted, funny,
and creative individual. Not only creative but an excellent listener
she strives for others to become a better version of themselves. She
also fights for what is best in order to implement some type of change
in the world and the by doing that she talks with groups of students
and provides them with key elements of success in order to prepare for
college she is setting a goal to do more public speaking. She also is
a student who loves being involved with GVSU student life activities
so she can add some new contributions to the school.
