Grand Valley has revised its face covering policy based on July 9/10 executive orders by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Changes will be considered based on CDC guidance and state and federal requirements.

Incident Management Team update: New face covering toolkit, web-based self-assessment, virtual campus tours

Grand Valley has launched a new virtual campus tour that can be accessed using a mobile device.  VisiTOUR features a virtual tour guide who will lead guests through an on-campus visit using 360-degree images, videos, audio and text, to highlight each stop on the tour.

Incident Management Team update

Facilities Services is now using an antimicrobial product they call a "game changer" as part of enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures on campus. The product, MicrobeCare, is a hospital-grade solution that will be used in classrooms and athletic complexes, as well as other high-traffic and high-visitor spaces like the Kirkhof Center, Lubbers Student Services Center and dining facilities.

In preparation for the Fall 2020 semester, university leaders have been working on a plan for how students will safely return to live and learn on campus.  Fall 2020 Move-in will be extended to five days to allow for social and physical distancing.
