Design thinking event to spotlight the power of empathy

Students aim to energize peers about history through Medieval activities at Paleo-Olympics

The Paleo-Olympic Games, organized by multiple history-based student organizations, aims to educate all students at Grand Valley about the value of history, regardless of academic major. This year's event took place September 15 on the Allendale Campus, and included activities such as sword fighting demonstrations, Medieval manuscript illumination, demonstrations about how to make ancient textiles, hieroglyphic cookie decorating and games inspired by ancient cultures.
