Hybrid & Meetings
Hybrid Format
The GVSU Medical Dosimetry program is a hybrid / online program. Clinicals are in person at the assigned institution, and didactic courses are online. Students remain at one clinical location for the entire program duration, which can be anywhere in the United States. The didactic courses are offered online with synchronous online “virtual classrooms” once a week (1 hour) and recorded lectures. The program has three meetings (one is on-site: students are required to come to GVSU Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences in Grand Rapids, MI and two are online). The on-site meeting is subject to change to online due to COVID-19.
Orientation: **on-site** - Late August (3 days- Wednesday, Thursday & Friday of the week before classes begin)
Winter Meeting: **online** - Late April (2 days- Thursday and Friday of finals week)
Final Meeting: **online** - Late July/Early August (4 days- Tuesday through Friday of the last week of class)
