The CLAS Center for Experiential Learning Community Work-Study Program connects students with local organizations, helping them achieve their goals while you develop valuable skills.
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact in your community? The Community Work-Study Program offers you the chance to work with local organizations, helping them achieve their goals while you develop valuable skills. As a student intern, you'll be engaged in meaningful, real-world projects that complement your academic learning.
By joining us, you'll not only earn money through your work-study award but also gain experience that can set you apart in your future career. Our community partners pay just 25% of your wages (up to your award amount), with the remaining 75% covered by federal funding. This means you get paid to learn and grow while making a difference.

Essential Job Functions:
While specific duties will vary by organization, all positions include:
- Arriving on time and adhering to dress code
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining proper phone etiquette
- Completing other related tasks as needed
This position is at the community partner's site. Transportation is necessary and/or significant time to utilize public transportation.
