One of Michigan’s premier public golf destinations is drawing national attention once again.

The Meadows at Grand Valley State University has been named one of the top college golf courses in the country by GolfNow, a partner brand of the Golf Channel. 

The recognition comes as part of GolfNow’s annual “Golfers’ Choice Awards,” which are based on the reviews and ratings submitted by golfers nationwide.

The Meadows ranked No. 9 among the top-15 college courses named on the list and was one of two courses from Michigan to crack the top-15. Eastern Michigan University’s Eagle Crest Golf Club came in at No. 11.

GolfNow’s top-15 college courses are: 

  • Atkins Golf Club (University of Illinois)
  • The Walker Golf Course (Clemson University)
  • Warren Golf Course (Notre Dame)
  • The Rawls Golf Course (Texas Tech)
  • Lonnie Poole Golf Course (North Carolina State University)
  • Bucknell Golf Club (Bucknell University)
  • New Mexico State University Golf Course
  • Rutgers University Golf Course
  • The Meadows at Grand Valley State University
  • Zollner Golf Course (Trine University)
  • Eagle Crest Golf Club (Eastern Michigan University)
  • Griffin Bell Golf & Conference Center (Georgia Southwestern State University)
  • Biltmore Golf Course (University of Miami)
  • Keith Hills Golf Club (Campbell University)
  • The Golf Club (Texas A&M)
