Encourage students to run for a Student Senate seat

Faculty and staff are encouraged to identify and encourage students who would be interested in running for open positions on Student Senate for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The deadline for students to have petitions signed and submitted is February 29.

Student Senate restructured over the past semester to broaden representation, amplify student perspectives and enhance engagement with the student body. 

As part of the revamped structure, the president and vice president will be directly elected by the student body and representatives from each college will be included on the senate.
