Mazid will give keynote address at inaugural GVSU CommCon

Imran Mazid, associate professor of public relations, is the keynote speaker at the inaugural GVSU CommCon June 17.

The University Communicator Network will host the GVSU CommCon, a day-long communications conference June 17 at the DeVos Center for Interprofessional Health on the City Campus. 

The conference is free and open to all faculty, staff and students. Register and learn more details.

The keynote speaker is Imran Mazid, associate professor of advertising and public relations. Mazid will address the challenges and ethical considerations of artificial intelligence in communications, asking: While AI changes the communication landscape, are we changing how we communicate in ways that truly reach people, resonate with them and help them feel they belong?
