GVSU’s annual Day of Giving is March 26. This is a day that unites
the entire Laker community in support of the programs and scholarships
that elevate student success.
Lakers can choose from hundreds of funds that support all aspects of
the Grand Valley experience, including scholarships, academic
initiatives, study abroad funds and experiential learning programs.
All gifts made on the campaign page will also count toward the annual
Faculty & Staff Campaign, which has an ambitious goal of 100%
giving participation from GVSU employees.
Donors can also maximize their impact through special challenge and
matching gifts. As a thank-you, anyone who makes a gift of $30 or more
to any fund can receive an exclusive pair of GVSU socks.
“Day of Giving showcases what is possible when our community comes
together with a shared purpose,” said Shannon Dale, senior director of
annual giving and digital strategy for Institutional Advancement.
“We’re excited to bring the campaign back for a third consecutive year
to continue strengthening student experiences and expanding access to
help Lakers succeed both in and out of the classroom.”
On-campus celebrations are planned from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on March 26 in
the Kirkhof Center lobby, Seidman Center lobby and the Cook-DeVos
Center for Health Sciences lobby. Students, faculty and staff are
invited to enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities at all three
locations. There will be free snacks, games, photo opportunities and
ways to win extra money for your favorite GVSU fund.
