To streamline Grand Valley's academic calendar, the spring/summer semester has been renamed summer semester.

The change was announced in late March by Provost Jennifer Drake and B. Donta Truss, vice president for Enrollment Development and College Futures.

The updated name will be implemented before the end of the winter semester. Drake and Truss said the change also ensures consistency across platforms, communications and student-facing materials.
