Nominate a student for the Cook Leadership Academy

A cohort of Cook Leadership Academy Fellows is pictured. Nominate a student for the 2026-2027 cohort before February 1.

Faculty and staff are invited to nominate a student for the 2026-2027 Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy (CLA) cohort. 

CLA is a competitive, co-curricular and cross-disciplinary leadership development program for a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students.  

Specific requirements for students include the following:

  • Nominees can be from any academic major or year.
  • Nominees should be in good academic standing; however, no specific GPA is required.
  • Nominees should demonstrate involvement in the campus community or other organizations.
  • Nominees should be dedicated to the public good, passionate about leading and committed to personal growth.
