Description of the Organization

E3 Compliance is a small engineering firm dedicated to solving EMC and signal and power integrity issues. This is accomplished through design reviews, simulations, testing and diagnostics. We have a total of 15 employees currently and we are located on GVSUs downtown Grand Rapids, MI campus at the Innovation & Design Center(IDC) building.

Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed

Tasks ranged from troubleshooting preproduction parts to running simulations of circuit boards. It also entailed working with clients from Fortune 500 companies to small entities like our organization.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

Some of the big skills I learned was running high level electrical simulations for high speed data. I also learned how to run EMC tests and take important signal and VNA measurements.

Favorite Part of the Experience

Making all the new friends at the company.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

Yes, I will likely go into high speed signal integrity due to the plethora of knowledges Iýve learned at the company.
