Trane is a HVAC company. The Grand Rapids Trane office specifically deals with commercial products. At this specific branch, there a three different divisions. There is sales, technically service, and creative solutions. All working together for the better interest of the company.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I mainly learned everything that goes into a modern day HVAC system. I also was taught psychometrics and common air flow calculations.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned how to work together as a team in a real world office environment. I learn a great deal about time management skills.
Favorite Part of the Experience
Going into the real world going outside the classroom education and receiving the hands on experience.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
It was great to see real careers taking place to give yourself something to strive for once you have figured out what you want to do in life. I had an idea i wanted to go in sales but after this first co-op i almost 100% confident with my choice.
