Koops Inc. is a company that does factory automation systems. They design assembly lines that assemble and modify customer parts, mostly for the automotive industry. It is a company of about 80 people but rapidly growing.

I worked as a mechanical engineer designing machines. I designed multiple machines for the automotive industry.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
The amount of information I learned was immeasurable. I learned so much about just working in the industry in general. More specifically I learned about designing machines, machining parts, working with co-workers, working with customers, juggling and prioritizing multiple jobs.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part was the amount of responsibility I was given and then being able to see the results of my choices.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
It has given me a much better idea of what I want to do in the future and has given me a picture of all different parts of industry.
