Skills in brainstorming, solid modeling in Pro/e, interpersonal communication, GD&T, project scheduling, and technical presentations were gained and improved. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, design tools (DFMEA, DVP&R), product launching, BOM organization, testing designs and specifications, and how to behave in a professional environment were gained and improved
Favorite Part of the Experience
I was given responsibility for projects of my own and trusted to complete them to the best of my ability. Everyone I worked with was always happy to help. I built great work relationships here.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I know more of who I am and what I am capable of. I am aware of new personal strengths and weaknesses. My desires to be a mechanical engineer and to keep learning have grown.
