Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I worked a lot on creating/updating a lot of maintenance and operating procedures for laser welding equipment. I also got to work directly with customers and suppliers in trying to solve product and process issues.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned a lot about laser welding equipment as well as the day to day decisions involved with keeping production running.
Favorite Part of the Experience
I really enjoyed getting to work hands on with the products while trying to solve problems with a team of experienced engineers who always offered great insights. As mentioned above I also worked a lot with laser welding equipment..I mean who doesn't love lasers!?
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience helped solidify my choice on becoming an engineer. I enjoy solving problems and tinkering with things while trying to help people with whatever they may be doing.
