DornerWorks is a premier provider of electronic engineering services for the aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial markets. It is a small company where everyone is approachable and quite brilliant.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I work on the Dexter Laundry project. We designed the hardware and software for a module system for over 40 washers and dryers. I mainly did unit testing and making tools for future use. I also modified the source code where necessary.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I gained knowledge in Git, Python, Extending Python with C, Code styling, and General micro controller application.
Favorite Part of the Experience
I enjoyed working on the project, learning how everything worked, and building new tools for the project in the future.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I definitely want to work at Dornerworks doing something similar to what I did this semester.
