TowerPinkster is an architecture, engineering, and interior design firm headquartered in Kalamazoo, MI with an office in Grand Rapids, MI and has a workforce of 200+ individuals.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I did electrical design for various architecture projects ranging from elementary schools to affordable housing for the elderly. My responsibilities as a designer spanned from the electrical pole on the street all the way to the light switch.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
Over my time at TowerPinkster I've grown a vast knowledge about applicable building and electrical codes, alongside key design concepts for specialized applications such as labor & delivery departments in hospitals.
Favorite Part of the Experience
Being able to see my impact on the local community in person & learning more about how to better an individuals everyday life though proper design practices.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
My time at TowerPinkster has steered me towards a future in architectural engineering, and a desire to learn more and acquire certifications/licenses such as becoming a licensed professional engineer.
