Description of the Organization
Susan G. Komen is nonprofit that supports women suffering from breast cancer, and supports the research of of the disease. The Michigan office currently has 5 employees and runs all Komen Michigan operations for central and west Michigan.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I created an email template for current and future events. If they need to send an email to the public they can select a template and send the email from there. Complete press releases for Komen Michigan events. I was supposed to attend some events, but the coronavirus happened.

How to create an email templates. How to write a succinct press releases.
Favorite Part of the Experience
I liked working in the offices between Lansing and Grand Rapids. I liked the people and learning from supervisors that cared about what I was learning.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I now know that I don't think working for nonprofits are for me, but I have respect for people who work there. They do a lot of amazing work.
