Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
During my time here I was tasked with making sure that football, volleyball, basketball game days ran smoothly. Solving any issues that may have arose during game days quickly and effectively.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
Through this experience I had to learn to be quick on my feet and problem solve quickly. There are many issues that arise that you cannot begin to predict, this made the internship fun in it's own way and helped to hone my problem solving skills.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this experience would be the network that I have built and the overall experience. It was fun to see what goes on behind the scenes of game days. Being a spectator you don't think about the hours and work that get put in to game days. It was great to be on the working side of that, it makes you gain a whole new perspective of athletics.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has influenced my future career goals because I now would like to work in collegiate athletics when before I was not sure that was something that I wanted to do. This experience was fun and challenging and I overall enjoyed the atmosphere of a D2 athletic department.
