Description of the Organization

My organization is a small company that focuses on electromagnetic compatibility with electronic parts. We also focus on high speed signal integrity and power integrity to ensure a proper signals and information goes from one side of the circuit board to the next.

Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed

I have performed numerous EMC tests from a wide range of products from aviation to commercial household equipment. I also helped diagnose issue with certain products and developed solutions to make these products pass test standards or simply prototyping stages.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

I learned how to better time manage with bigger projects and just general communication skills in the workplace. I also learned many of the ins and outs of the EMC world along with PCBs.

Favorite Part of the Experience

I got to develop a sensor calibration kit that uses an Ardiuno nano to send a PWM signal through a RC circuit to ensure our analog light sensor are always calibrated to a consistent measurement.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

It has shown me that in order to help the world, you can do more then simply develop cleaner method of producing energy. You can also test devices to ensure they will last for a long time to help reuse our functioning devices.
