Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

I learned how to be more dependable and take initiative when it comes to doing tasks and upcoming projects. Most importantly, I feel like my communication skills have increased by working with other interns and having weekly meetings on our progress within the club sport organization.

Favorite Part of the Experience

Learning and taking advice from my supervisors. They taught me a lot and communicated with me very well on what skills I needed to work on, and also what I excelled in at their organization. They made me feel like I was an important asset in their organization and gave me tasks that I will later use in my future career.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

This internship influenced me to work in program management, where I can manage and support sport leagues. After graduation, I will be a supervisor/ assistant hockey director and look after hockey programs for adult leagues and also youth hockey tournaments.
