Abstract

The taekwondo kicking target is designed to accommodate a variety of different kicks including front, side, ax, and crescent kicks to name several. The targets translate vertically and rotate about the central vertical axis to provide a multitude of target positioning options. The movement of the target will be activated with an app for Android devices. Accelerations during kicking will be recorded using band mounted leg accelerometers.
