Brief Biography: He has been teaching and doing research since 1994. Areas of interest include Soft-switching Techniques, Digital Logic Circuits and Power Electronics. In 1997 he was awarded the prestigious Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship for doctoral studies. Dr. Rahman is also a Senior Member of IEEE. More information about Dr. Rahman.

Degrees: Dr. Rahman holds a bachelor's (1994) and a master's (1996) degree both in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from BUET. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 2001.
