Project Abstract

The purpose of the project is to alleviate ergonomic and timing concerns by replacing the actions currently conducted by a material handler. The actions would now be done by an automated machine. This machine would accept a cart full 8 totes of either backs or seats for the Aeron chair. The machine would grab and de-stack the totes one at a time onto a gravity fed conveyor in a orderly fashion.
