Grand Valley State University's Education programs are ideal for undergraduate and graduate students to study education, teaching, and counseling. Offering courses in education and teaching since 1964, GVSU provides high-quality programs with small class sizes. With a commitment to educational principles such as active learning, interaction of theory and practice, and learning relevancy, the Education programs offer students the personalized attention needed to become leaders in their fields.
In July 2021, Grand Valley State University merged the College of Education and the College of Community and Public Service into a new college, the College of Education and Community Innovation.
